Becky Sue Epstein began her career as a restaurant reviewer for the Los Angeles Times while working in film and television, and later became a wine writer and editor for a number of national and international print and online publications. She is also the author of several books on wine and spirits, including Champagne: A Global History; Brandy: A Global History; and Strong, Sweet & Dry: A Guide to Vermouth, Port, Sherry, Madeira and Marsala [fall 2019].
